Brazil Ministries Print E-mail

Our outreach to Brazil has a wide range of ministries. They include care for the infants, camps for the youth, training for young adults and churches to minister to all. Below you will find a brief description of each.Miriam Infant Home

Miriam Infant Home

The Miriam Infant Home was started in 1990 with one little boy, who's Mother died from a heart attack in her early 20's. Social Services from Campo MourĂ£o had come up to see if we could take this child. So little Ricardo came to us and the Miriam Infant Home was born. Since Ricardo, hundreds of children have passed through our doors - some being adopted to other families, others returning to their recuperated family.

Retreat Center and Bible Camps

ARCA

ARCA

The ARCA is a Christian Camp and Retreat Center located in a rural area about 20 miles from Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. Thousands of lives are touched through this ministry every year as people get away from the distractions and busyness of everyday life and are immersed in the beauty of God's creation and in the teaching of His Word.

Bible Camp

Bible Camp

Bible camp ministry takes place just outside of Campo Mourao. Young and old take the opportunity to spend uninterrupted time in God's Word. The fellowship with God and other believers refreshes, renews and changes lives.

Training

SETELL

In Camopo Mourao a Bible school serves to ground lives in the Word of God. Our seminary on the same site prepares pastors to be conservative Lutheran shepherds of congregations.

Church Planting

Church Planting

As people come to faith in Christ churches

are planted to reach the community for Jesus.

Premavera

Primavera Church Project

As churches are planted they desire a place to worship. The AFLC in the United States partners with the Brazilian national church to provide a building. The national church provides a piece of land and AFLC churches and individuals raise $15,000.00 to help build a simple building. This project is called the Premavera Program.
