Church Planting The AFLC of India carries out the Great Commission by planting churches in the towns and villages of Andhra Pradesh. Gospel Meetings are held in a village. Then the new Christians are discipled and a church is planted.
Pastoral Training As new churches are planted additional pastors are needed. Pastors and teachers from the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations in the United States travel to India to train these pastors. The goals is to have Indian pastors who can train new pastors in the future.
Building Churches As a viliage forms a congregation they desire to have a permanant building to worship Christ. Most congregations begin worshiping in a thached building they can afford. Unfortunatly these structures don't stand up to the rainy season and must be rebuilt almost every year. A program called the Kattudamhmu Randi (Come Let Us Build - CLUB) Project has been developed to help provide permanant structures for worship. This special project attempts to raise $15,000. per year which will build two churches in India.
