Path of Peace

1. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”

2. In both of these verses, we are admonished to seek peace and pursue it. The word pursue in these verses emphasizes the fact that peace is not something that is so easily obtained. Pursue means to strive for, try to get, seek, keep on with.

Source and Supplier of Peace

1. The Lord is the source and supplier of peace and it is because of Christ’s atoning death on the cross that this peace is available to us.

Peace on Earth

1. To bring peace with God to a fallen world was the prime errand of the Savior to this earth.

Christ comes in Peace

1. God will speak peace to His people. He will guide our feet into the way of peace, and the Lord of peace Himself will give you peace always by all means. Peace inward and outward, here and hereafter, in all times and places.

Renewed Peace

These verses in Jeremiah 33:6-9 portray a beautiful picture of the character and nature of God dealing with difficult people.
