Let us look at some examples of kindness in the Bible.  Indicate whether the act was motivated by God’s Spirit or selfish gain.

a. 2 Kings 8:1 — Elisha to the Shunamite.

b. 2 Kings 25:27-30 –Evil-merodach to Jehoiachin.

c. 2 Chronicles 22:11–Johoshabeath to Joash.

d. Esther 2:7 –Mordecai and Esther.

e. Jeremiah 39:11-12–Nebuchadnezzar to Jeremiah.
