God’s goodness and grace go hand in hand; His goodness is tempered by His grace. He is approachable because of His goodness. Even though God’s goodness is unspotted and so great, He does not keep us at arm’s length. Rather, He comes to us, knowing how sinful and stained we are, with warm arms of love. A beautiful picture of this is found in Luke 15:11-24.
