Be At  Peace

2 Timothy 2:22 tells us that we are to be at peace with other Christians.

Make Peace

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:18 (ESV)

Bathe everything in prayer.
Allow God’s Word and Spirit to be your guide.
Set an example of peace and calmness in your own life.
Do not react angrily.
Take time to listen.

Apply these thoughts and others that are mentioned in our everyday situations and problems that arise in the home.

Remain at Peace

 If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. John 15:18 (ESV)

Wrong Attitudes Toward Peace

a. I Samuel 2:3 Pride and arrogance

b. Titus 3:3 (Focus on the last part of the verse) Hateful and hating one another

c. Psalm 15:3 slander with his tongue,  does no evil,   nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

d.James 3:14a have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition

e. I Corinthians 10:24a selfishness

Humble Peace

A person of peace is one with a contrite and lowly (humble) spirit.
